      mom2boys:
      Hi Hairuliza,

I like the school mainly of it's small ratio. Each level has only 1 class. For ex, K1 has 1 class, ratio is about 1:12 if I remember correctly

Teachers are caring. so far I've no problems with the school. My boys are happy there..
I went to the open house last saturday...went to both places...i tink the teachers in poh huat crescent are younger (wonder if they can handle the kids, bathing them etc) while st xaviers teachers are older (wonder if they are really have the qualifications even though the teacher said they are all min. diploma).... poh crescent has a bigger own playground whereas st xaviers own playground is smaller...so penny for thoughts...but both has its pros and cons....

      Hi Mom2boys,

Can i chk with you if there are any cases of HFMD in Poh huat crescent since you have enrolled yr son there?? I was told only one case so far....is it true?? I saw the timetable schedule and was a bit uncomfortable that after 5pm, it is TV time or free time until the parents pick them up.....so wonder if this applies to other CCC??

          Dear All...

I am leaving around hougang (near to hougang mall)and is urgently looking for a preschool for my gal who is turning 2 next yr Feb. Does anyone has good recommendations?

Currently my gal is attending enrichment classes at GUG, would love to let her continue there but travelling is abit too far for her. 😞

Recently i visited Pat's @ Lim Ah Pin, anyone have comments/experience with them? I tried to go through the threads but I cant locate any comments on them (most of the comments is meant for other locations).

I saw a few good comments on Faith, can someone pls share with me on their website?

          Many Thanks
          Kaisu Mummy

                Hi casey29

My gal is attending the classes at Novena twice a week. She is under the Babes class though is meant for babies till 18mths but is fine to park her there cos it is her 1st time attending lesson.

Teachers over there are friendly and nice. My gal loves to go there for lessons. If is not for the distance, I will just let her continue her preschool over there…

In terms of language, now she is able to do the zoo-phonics in less than 2mths… πŸ™‚

                      hi,

sorry for the late response. Was real busy with work and my work place set firewall for this website :x
there are some minor cases of HFMD in poh huat crescent last yr..think about twice..my son got it from his classmates..but the school did inform the parents in advance on the cases that happen in school..so far this year, din heard of any...
As for the TV time, that the usual practise for CC cos there will be pick up starting from that time for my CC..
What i like so far is the low turnover rate in the CC..my child has sticked with the same teacher for the past 1yr plus..so the closeness is there...

                        Hi mom2boys,

Thanks alot...this gives me better impression of the school should i decide to place my son next year there....

I went for both poh huat and st xaviers ones but seems like my son prefers the poh huat...mainly becos of the playground outside and they have the little tikes cars....hahhaha....

May i ask if there is any problems encountered since the kids sleep in the aircon rooms?? I have heard feedbacks that do not let kids go to cc with aircon as the air circulation would be bad and kids wld be more prone to get sick......can u share your thoughts??

Btw, have u heard of carpe diem mi schoolhouse at hougang ave 9??
