I also cannot find the price. What I did was to assume I'm booking for the trip till it proceeded to the cost of the trip. Anyone has better suggestion?

        TIA.

Hi blurbee, you need to call them as there is a difference between high and low season.

Sigh, if i had booked now, i would have saved about $200.

Hi…i had wanted to bring my teen daughter to Club Med - Phuket but now concerned about the flooding situation in Thailand plus the hygiene aspects. Therefore the other option is Club Med Bintan.

Anyone been there (Bintan) in December, is it raining everyday?

I was thinking that it is good for teens to just amuse themselves with the club’s activities (they do not enjoy doing stuff with boring parents anyway) and parents can do their own thing.

Feedback about your experience in Bintan appreciated…

Club Med Bintan is good. Been there on 3 occasions, suitable for family. Food and drinks ae available throughout the day. They even have a kids bar serving drinks like Ben 10, Spiderman, Hanna Montana…

Now travel i think 1 child goes for free…

Went to Club Med Bintan a few years back and yes - do be prepared for wet weather in Dec. The sun only came out on the day we left :slapshead: :stupid:

Still, we had a great time. Kids joined the kids club and dh and I just veg out. It was one of those \"let's don't do anything except laze around and eat and drink\" type of holidays.

But do be forewarned that the beach may be closed due to choppy waters and one can't suntan at the pool or beach due to rain. There was one day when I was determined to laze at the pool and attempted to suntan in light drizzle. :siao: :siao:

I have pics of my dds performing their trapeze and archery acts and we have their photos framed on our living room walls

                😉

I went with my three kids (6, 3 and <1 yo). We all enjoyed ourselves. Even if it’s raining, you can do other stuff, like go spa, play table-tennis etc. it’s amazing how time flies even when you aren’t doing anything!

I have been to club med bintan twice, and enjoyed ourselves doing little. If you are concern about the rain and choppy sea in Dec (the ferry ride there will be choppy too in Dec so, prepare motion sickness medication), and concern about hygiene in Phuket, there is always club med Bali to consider too. Cherating at this time will experience the NE monsoon too.

                        Wow…

Is it really worth the price?
                        Does it include golf fees?
