          wow! Opera Estate 268 ... excellent !

          in the past - during P1 registration, a lot of vacancies but nobody want.
          after this, situation may change.

          Maha Bodhi - heard that top scorer is 268
          they have 43 pupils with >= 250.
          Well done!

          any more good news from other schools ?
          keep updating please, Thank you 😂
          Opera has a change of principal and VP 2 years ago. They are excellent educators and have aggressively made lots of changes to bring up the standard. :boogie: :rahrah: One of my friends tried to apply under the foreigners' scheme this year but was dismayed to realised that there was only 7 vacanies with 1000 applicants. :slapshead: Hopefully the school will continue to improve.

                  I think although the highest T-score seems important, the number of pupils who scores more than 250 is a better gauge of the school’s standard.

                      But if u r already in those branded school, esp those which rich hertage that produced generations of students, u would have realised that majority of the parents pump in alot of external resources into their kids. So why compare?

                        I got 2 colleagues whose son and grandson are in top notch branded sch, they tld me dun ever enrol my child into these type of schools because if yr child grade drop by few marks u will get call from the teachers asking you to send yr child to tuition/enrichment classes! one of the branded sch worst, they expect parents to be very involve and my colleague was complaining that her daughter needs to go to the school almost every sat, hear the teacher talk abt the children progression and stuff that parents can do to help the child. Worst than PV!
