Hi, thanks for all yr valuable comments.

What about if we opt for O level program in Cedar?
Am quite hesitant to put her into integrated program as there are nothing to fall back if the child can't perform at A level and will end up w/o a o level cert. If choose Cedar, she will not be able to use her hmt bonus point. Not sure if ok to choose a 4 year program in Cedar and whether will she be successful.

Whereas for SCGS, does she stand any chance if appealing? Understand the COP for last year is 250.

As St Nicholas is nearer to us, how is it compared to Cedar Girls?

:?:

Yes, just submit your S1 form based on your preference. Do keep in mind to be within reasonable range of the COP of the schs you have chosen, so that you will not be disappointed 😉

Isn't St Nic the top school for o level in the last few years ? Or at least with the best O level student.

Hi, I would like to ask, is the COP for SAP schools inclusive of HMT? For eg, the cop of NYGH is 262 inclusive of HMT. Does that mean DHS’s COP is 257 and is inclusive of HMT. Kind of puzzled.

Appreciate if some kind soul can enlighten me.

Thanks so much.

Hi, I would to ask, do you know what is the highest COP for RGS in the recent years?

263 - 2009 Sec 1 intake
260 - 2010 Sec 1 intake
260 - 2011 Sec 1 intake

I do not know previous to that, sorry. But there could be others here who might know.

BTW, there are a few people missing this year, esp 25hourmaid. Last year I was a silent reader and remember her advising and guiding a lot of students and parents. Also where are Vanilla_cake, brenda10, lizawa, verykiasu2010... :boogie:

But as I scored 265 excluding hmt, do you think it is a safe score? Based on the ksp threads, 1358 people scored 260 and above for 2011 psle. so do u have any idea wat is the number of vacancies available on average for rgs and nygh? thanks!! :lovesite:

phankao, my sincere feedback, 258 need not appeal, RGS will reject, you can imagine the long Q. My DD is in RGS. Last year, S1 posting, her best friend got 266, she made a mistake & chose DHS as 1st choice. Of course she got DHS, guess what? After posting results confirmed, she immediately went to RGS to appeal. It was not successful. My sincere sharing, please make sure the choice is right, there is no room for error! Don't waste the 1st choice,

:yikes: Make a mistake as in key in wrong code in system? Aiyo, the mum and dad never do four eye check?! :stupid: :slapshead: what a twist of fate!

You should be somewhat safe because top 3% indicator EESIS COP 260 is same as last year.
Btw for interesting reference:
RGS COP
263 - 2009 Sec 1 intake and EESIS COP 263
260 - 2010 Sec 1 intake and EESIS COP 261
260 - 2011 Sec 1 intake and EESIS COP 260
Voila!! 😉

Hi I was thinking EESIS is given to the top 1/3 of cohort entering Independent School, no so?
