2011 PSLE EESIS and top 10% COP

Just curious how is the % being calculated, ie. 250 belongs to the top 10? How about 254+1?

260 and above - top 3%
259 - top 4%
258 - top 5%
256 to 257 - top 6%
254 to 255 - top 7%
252 to 253 - top 8%
251 - top 9%
250 - top 10% -
EESIS is for top 3% of the cohort only.
10% option to choose 3rd lang -

my son is scoring 259, please advise btw RI and HCI, which one he will have a higher
chance? His preference is RI.

Any HCL ? If his preference is ri, then just put ri as first choice and hci as second. Posting is based on merit. I would say equally good chance to get into either school based on last year cop. his score is already very high. Besides RI and HCI, there is still DHS and NJC which are very good schools too

My son is not Singapore Citicen now, if he transfer to SC in future, can he apply for EESIS (he got 268 in this PSLE)?

My daughter obtained 249 and she received a scholarship presentation award letter from edusave and the letter states that she is in the top 10%. So why is there discrepancies from parents re: top 10% 248, 249 and 250?
