Would anyone hv info on the O Level banding of ACS I? Tq.

Schools offering IP are excluded from the banding exercise.

Noted wif ts. Based on what I found in its website. The L1B5 is phaps band 4 based on ave 13.6.

Hi if my son goes to ACSI and he wants to take up Malay as 3rd language, it will be MSP and lessons are held in the school right ?

Is is tougher or easier compared to other 3rd languages ?
At least no need to travel for 3rd language.

        What about RSP ?
Do students have to sign up for msp on the S1 form first before they can consider rsp ?
Or just leave the s1 form blank ?

But its not a purely IP school. It does have a 'O' level track. So how do we know the 'O' performance of the school? :?

It shouldn't be a surprise; ACS(I) takes in students at roughly 235 (affiliated), so if the more academically inclined are creamed off for the IBDP in Year 5/6, the others would be around Band 4, yes. Don't forget, the IBDP entry point is equivalent (at worst) to L1R5 of 8, and in effect it is something like 6 points. šŸ™‚

Appreciate advise for the following qns :

                1. What is the chance to get directly into IP for 254 ?
                2. How convenient from HV mrt to the school ?

SBC dad: 1) No idea, but I suspect they will try to set internal cutoff at 255; note however that internal transfer to IP can also occur a) by waitlist in Year 1, b) by academic performance in Year 2 going up to Year 3. 2) HV MRT not as convenient as Buona Vista MRT, take 74 or 196 or walk 10 min.

Don't walk, definitely more than 10 minutes. šŸ˜‚
Closest mrt is Buona Vista and not Holland V.

Heard last year COP was 253 , year before was 255 , and two years back was 257. Seems to be moving downward, any comments ?
