For younger children with smaller hands, they will need bigger whiteboard
markers and definitely bigger alphabets for tracing. As younger children
are unable to write free hand as yet, you may use these kinds of wall
charts. Easily available at neighbourhood shops and also Popular.
This alphabet wall chart allows your child to trace inside the letter shape.
With the arrows to show where to begin the writing, children learn with
practice that letters are written in top to bottom and from left to right.

Here's another closer look at that wall chart.

Lowercase letter are more difficult to write especially with all the curvy
lines of the letters b, p and q... (etc) hence, it's good to start with the
small caps first especially since even in a sentence, there will be more
small caps to write as compared to important letters that has to begin
with capital letters... like names, days of the week, months of the year,
street names, shop names... (etc)
Found an article that supports the importance of practising lowercase
letters first when children begin their writing phase.

The alphabet place mats looks good…but I always can’t find the stuff that you recommend…so sad…I am still looking for the days of the week stampers which you recommend in the other thread…
Hopefully I can get the alphabets mat you recommend.

PM me your address, i can mail the
days of the week stamper set to U
darling! I'll just go back to da same
place and get it. No trouble at all!
How old is your child now?
The alphabet mat confirm at Bugis
BHG cause i went there like early
last week.. Children's level and if
i remember correctly, the shelf is
near the pens & Barbie stationery.
It should definitely be there unless
if its all sold out!

Buds thanks so much... do let me know how much it cost...but is it still available at d shop still... Cause it seems to be extinct haha!I searched almost everywhere for it... My hubby will tease me and go 'aren't you tired of going in and out of all the stationary shop that comes in view?
My boy is 3 yrs 2 mths...he kind of like stamping stuff instead of holding a pencil and doodle so I thought it would be good to introduce him to the words by stamping...
Thanks again buds  -
That's one of the plus of being buds' buddies!
