I dun enroll them into any class for fear they will fix their style n creativity to a certain instructor / photographer or worst still, me! however i will teach them just enough basic to have fun. Do they really need to know rule of 3rd? framing? AEL/AFL? n all? i think the main thing is have fun. Involvement on my part is more important. I agree with you, professional classes should start later. Recently during a wedding, my 6 years old son took the best pic (a few of them) of the day (i am totally unbiased!). I just passed the cam to him, let he roamed while I have talks with friends.

why not just join school clubs and start off from there? i think professional classes should start when they are old enough to learn, digest and apply the skills with good equipment. only then can they really enjoy the art of photography, IMHO, that is. πŸ™‚

I like D700 coz it is small enough for the kids to play.

                    I like D3s ISO n picture quality.
I cant see any reason to add another cam body to my collection without selling one of them...
                    pain....
