I am a bit concern about the sale of the plot of land next to the school.

Soon there will be major construction there.
With it will come noise, just, mosquitoes, safe concern etc.
The previous principal was hoping that some rich and kind parents will buy over that piece of land and donate it to the school but it was not to be.

        Hi ngbrdad,

Tks for ur response on Edu-Net! We dun stay or work nearby NH, so must make extra effort if need to go down and supervise his lunch. Still considering, got til 18 Jan to response.

Need super rich parents to buy that plot of land then. πŸ˜‰ I'm also very concerned esp the dust and mosquitoes issue. Sigh, since my boy juz started P1, sure will be there throughout the construction. So far, no showroom been setup yet.

            Dear parents of upper primary,

Yesterday receive the enrolment form for Edu-Net Learning Center. Would like to seek advice if it's necessary to start the english enrichment programme from P1? My concern is lunch arrangement, i'm not confident he will buy proper lunch by Feb. Also, are we expecting more enrichment classes like Maths or HCL also? Since P1 juz started, i really much preferred him to be able to take proper lunch at hm and enjoy his short nap.

            Thanks in adv!

Both my kids enrolled in the edu net speech and drama enrichment classes from P1. Thought it was quite useful, at least keep them occupied for one afternoon.
Later on edu net provides fun math enrichment classes as well but not HCL.
For most families who stay nearby and where the parents are unable to go to the school during lunch hours, usually the domestic helpers are dispatched to the school to supervise the lunch.

Hi, I received the Edu-Net Form too but too bad, the lessons are on the same day & time as Maths Olympiad training, wonder anybody doing the planning or co-ordination of these enrichment programmes ? Does the co-ordinator notice this ? Really hope my DS can join both. Or do they run the same programme in term 2 that those who missed it in term 1 can join ?

I think there is a lot of time constrain unfortunately .
All along Edu net activities has been on Wed afternoon.
As for your DS, I think Thurs is school enrichment, Fri is CEP, plus math olympiad on Wed, he only has Mon and Tue for CCA if there is any being held on these 2 days.

For those who hv P3ers, do you sign them up for the conversational Malay course? Initially, I thought it was compulsory. Only upon receiving the form, then I realise it’s optional.

Hi flowy, I did not sign up as the timing is not good for us. But I bought the book.

Your child taking any CCA? Are you going this Sat?
