This Friday, year 1 boys are going to st andrew's village to support RI in the kiwi cup right? May I know if it's compulsory? Ds has a gathering with his P6 friends (he really misses them a lot) and was looking forward so much to it until yesterday, I was flipping through the orientation booklet and realised he can't go because of the kiwi cup.

VSK, I remember my DS ft mentioning when we met them last fri that it is compulsory. Tho lesson ends at 150, they cannot even come home but have to wait in school till e event time which I think is 4-6?

So looks like your DS is gonna miss his gathering.

During the Investiture, a Rep from each class (Reg No.1) had the chance to go on stage to have their badges pinned on by the Principal. Many Malay boys got to go on stage, as their names mostly start with A (eg. Abdul xxx, Ahmad, Ali, Amin, Aziz etc)... LOL...


Then the Reps each brought a box (containing the badges) down to their respective classes, and the Form Teachers & PSLs helped to pin the badges for the boys from their classes. I was sitting just one row in front of DS, so I managed to catch a good view when his Form Teacher was pinning the badge for him. Also managed to snap a few nice photos too!

wow, good for you! We were sitting three rows behind ds and got to get up to the side to take photos when the PSL was pinning the badge.

:slapshead: I missed the cheers they did yesterday... my MIL needed to go to the loo so had to accompany her out. When we came in, they were already singing the school anthem/song.

My ds just sms me saying he was being sent to the HMT class during their chinese lesson. He tried to explain but the teacher said will get back to him tmr. Hmm…so he missed his normal chinese lesson today coz MT and HMT cover different things rite? My ds has never taken HMT in primary sch and I specifically ticked NOT taking in the form.


Anyone not taking HMT encountered this problem?
