      Hi Everyone,

My boy is in KCPPS - Pri 1-B (2012), anyone care to comment on the progress with your kid? My boy have recieved quite a few complains from form teacher since day 1- mainly due to he mis-behave, poor focus in class, talkative, and today, standing too close to the 2nd floor ledge & was rude to teacher. I do not want to over-react, but any advice what i should do?
Both hubby & myself working , and grandma looks after him (my boy is the only kid).

      Apperciate for comments & advice!!
      Thanks
      Mummy AhKuan
Give your kid some time to adjust. Kindergarten and pri sch works quite differently.
Fr what you described, also seems a bit like \"only-kid\" syndrome. Just a suggestion: putting your child into a student care may help your child to adjust to a more structured and disciplined student life. Most grandmas (not all) are rather indulgent of their grandchildren, whether boy or girl. My parents are indulgent of my kids and often \"undo\" what i set down. So i've got to set my rules clear to my kids.
As for talkative, don't think your boy is the only one with this feedback. 😉 It is ok to be talkative, but hv to teach them to talk at the right time. Aren't we telling our singapore students to learn to speak up? I won't like it if the kids must always be quiet in the class.

              hi,

was disappointed that it was done in a hall instead of class.
We prepared our son , his costume speech, and with face-painting too.
At the end, when we got him from school, he said he did not go up to hall to speak cause he lacks the courage. Told him, it is okay, daddy would be scared too… next time, it would be better. He said "okay"…

And yes, we got a call from Mrs Chan, FT about how my son and another son were pushing and both rolling on the ground, and how Mrs Chan put my son to sit alone cause he was too verbal… hmm, that’s didn’t feel right too…

Anyway, let’s see… still early days.

                Hi hi ....

My boy is in 1C too and I have updated the list below. Can I exchange number with mummies/daddies of 1C? My boy gave me a shock for his first Ting Xie ... left that sheet of paper in school. Ask him ... why never bring home? Just say - Dunno. Where did you leave it? Dunno

Almost kicked him out of the house. Luckily managed to get the list from a fellow mommy in another class.

For 1C, PE attire on PE, PAL S/D & PAL M/A. So my DS wears PE attire on Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri. He wears uniform only on Wed.
