Hi, I will be travelling to Sydney in early Aug.

As I am bringing my 3 year old DD with me, i like to find out if we can bring medicine to standy by. I heard that they have pretty strict rules on what we can bring and not to bring into Australia. Hence, I am worried if medicine is ok? whether i need to get any certification from doctor?

We will be staying at Novotel Darling Harbour, i will be going for conference for the first 3 days, hence i think my hubby will bring her around the area to look see.

subseuqently, we rented a car, aiming to go Tangaroo zoo for one day and still not sure what else to do...

We will then move on to Hunter Valley for a 3 days 2 nights stay...
If it is western medication than is should be fine, common chinese medication like pozhaiyun is fine as long as they are not herbs.

You can consider going to Blue Mountains, rather far from the City but its worth the trip. But do be careful if you are driving up as you will basically be driving along the mountain side with no barriers.

There is this restaurant which you must definitely go to when you are in Sydney it is underneath the Habour bridge, i think that place is call \"The Rocks\" it is a weekend flea market and the restaurant is called \"Pancake on the rocks\".

Bondi beach is nice if you mind your DH oggling at babes suntanning nude. 😄

Also you can visit some factory outlets to buy branded aussie products like billabong. Not sure what is the name of the factory outlet i went to, but it is right by the river.

You can go to Featherdale Wildlife Park in Blacktown of NSW. You can feed and touch kangaroos, koalas and many other animals there.

You can also go to Cabramatta, 15 minutes drive from Blacktown. It's known as \"Little Asia\". There are many authentic Vietnamese food there as the Vietnamese mainly dominate the area.

The Vietnamese food tastes REALLY REALLY good.

I don't know any. But maybe u wanna seat those budget airlines like Jetstar?

              Those are quite cheap.

But of course, the things provided are also very little too.

planning a trip to sydney during the june school holiday.

does anyone has a ‘cheaper than jetstar asia’ package to share?
jetstar offers tickets to sydney at about S$700 pp. i estimated hotel around S$200 p nite. so one week there will be around 6nite x S$200=S$1200. air tix for 3 = S$2100.
