      Hi everyone,

      I'm 1.61m tall.
I was 39 kilos back in university, as skinny as a pencil.
Before I was pregnant with DD, I was 52 kilos, I put on a total of 8 kilos throughout my pregnancy.
After DD popped out, I lost 10 kilos in the first week of confinement, and have been 50 kilos since.
DD is now 9 months young.
I'm 41 and recently returning to work as FTWM after 1 year of being SAHM. I'm too tired after work and running after DD to do any exercise.
I'm slim by description but because of pregnancy, some parts of me will never be as taut as before aka blubber belly and blubber butt.
Well not without surgery anyways
      Oh well.
As long as DH sayang can liao.

I wish for all of us: good health, a body we all love and celebrate and throw away all weighing machines, they are a waste of money, time and energy.
39 kg is underweight right ?

        Dunno leh.
When we was young, there no no such thing as BMI.
But I did remember drinking that disgusting \"pseudo-cereal\" they gave underweight kids in primary school. Does anyone else remember that gross drink?

Oh yes I remember that awful drink. Actually defeats the purpose cos after drinking some of us puked.

I was underweight and under tall when I was a kid. So was put on all sorts of weight gain program and appetite boosters. Then puberty hit and I started getting chubby. And there’s no turning back.

I started putting on weight after secondary school because no more regular PE. I also tend to snack more when I am stressed. I am only 1.52 m and although i managed to go back to my pre pregnancy weight, which is 50 kg after my DS is born, it was still considered heavy for my height. When DS turned 7 mths old, I got a desk bound job and the problem worsened because I was always sitting down.

My weight increased from 50 kg to 61 kg over 6 years. I knew I was plump but I just could not resist food and was always snacking and even had supper about 4x a week. But i did not really bother about it because DH didn't complain. Last year, I did a medical examination and although my blood tests were somewhat normal, it was the weight analysis that rang the alarm. My body fat and visceral fat percentage were really high and my body fat percentage was higher than my muscle mass percentage. I was35 yo but my body age was 46. I was determined to lose all those fats.

I came to know about Nu Skin TRA. After some research on it and support
from my husband, I started my journey on the TRA program. This is the 7th week and has seen more improvements. Not only I have felt the
difference, people are also noticing that I am slimming down. My body fat
percentage has decreased and my muscle mass precentage has gone up.
My body age is now 42 and my VFA (visceral fat analysis) has come down
from 7 to 6. For females, the ideal VFA should be 2-3. I will continue to
work towards going back to the ideal weight for my height. 😉

Kudos to u ladies. Dieting and all the detox programs. Actually the only way to lose wt is through exercise.

Think of the toned and lean muscles on ur body. It does not only makes you look younger, it also makes you look even more attractive. The best thing about having lean muscles, it helps to increase your metabolic rate so in turn you will burn more calories while resting. You can eat all your wonderful chocolates, cheesecakes and indulge urself and not worrying about getting fat!!!

It’s not about weighing light, it is able looking slim. I’ve long thrown away my bathroom scale. No longer rely on it cos it makes me feel depressed, esp when it swings towards the wrong size.

All the best Ladies. Do PM me if you are interested to get more slimming tips.

BTW, recently signed up pole dancing and i dropped 2 inches!

Yes, indeed. Exercise is one of the ways to lose weight. TRA which stands for The Right Approach advocates having the right nutrition, the right exercise and the right supplementation. It works towards increasing the muscle mass and reducing the body fat which in turn increases the body metabolism and prevent weight rebound.

Besides making conscious choices of food, I have also started incorporating exercises into daily living. I tried to climb stairs, go for brisk walking and swimming. I have also cut out on supper completely.

ever since Young... I been trying very hard to lose my weight...

and I always had that kind of plump plump look which I really hate to see my fladdy meat in the mirror,,

after so many years of trying... I give up totally

only then I am recommended to take part in a weight loss contest which replaced two meals... I tell myself since I already try so many method why not... this

I took Herbalife for about 4 months and I lose abt 9 KG and now I am near to my ideal BMI liao..

and My dress size drop from XL to L.. so happy...
Eh... Try stopping Herbalife... See if you gain back.... If it doesn't, then that's a good product..... Just my thoughts cos to me, if i need to invest something in the long run, then it's a little disappointing... I cant imagine drinking the shake everyday for like the rest of my life just to maintain my figure.....

hope you r not offended..... =X

I have been reading KSP for so many years so I thought it is time I gave back…if you have been to some slimming salons, you will know that some of them use a suction machine with cup to scrub the parts of your body that you want reduced. After a many sessions and a lot of money, the thighs drop an inch but it comes back if the treatment stops. I find that I achieve better results with only $10 and 5 mins every day.

I bought this guasa board for $10 from Yue Hwa at Chinatown. Its a flat rectangular piece of bull’s horn measuring about 8cm by 5cm. I use the more tapered end of the guasa board (after I have soaped myself during bath) to scrub my thighs, tummy, upper arms etc.

The first few times I did it, there are purple bruises due to the blood circulation problems in the body, but after a while, the bruises go away and no matter how hard I scrub, there are no more bruises. My cellulite has reduced significantly and will show up only if I press very hard. I sit at my desk everyday and my cellulite and water retention problems make me look really fat. With this, I am able to go back to my svelte self and my legs never looked better.

Its just like massaging the body and there is no need to scrub very hard, this method gives me better results and shape than pure dieting.

You can also scrub away the double chin and the dark rings and eye bags, just use a suitable cream as lubricant.

A disclaimer - please try this lightly first and maybe on a small part of your body. Also you know your body best and if you bruise easily, with long healing times, then please either not try or adjust the frequency as appropriate.

Just wanted to share this and may we all have more gorgeous and healthy mommys in KSP.

                        hi ABPhappy

                        thank you for sharing.

may i know, how long do u need to scrub each session/each area?

if we were to use an alternative scrubber in place of that guasha board, will the effect be the same?

                        tia.
