Thanks wywy2, always good to know another author I can look up. Will note down to hunt in NLB.

Yes, I find children books nicer than adult books. Equally touching and entertaining without the gore or the censored bits. We finished the Groosham Grange books by Anthony Horowitz (2 in the series) last weekend. Very entertaining but a bit macabre. I enjoy reading the same stuff as DS becos we can giggle and gasp over the same things.
I have not heard about the Groosham Grange series, will check it out. Now that the holidays are near, it will be worth it to get more books. Tks for all your recommendations.

No they dont. I dont think they can cover so many things in 2 hours. Perhaps for oral, you can practise with your kid at home or look for a centre tht provides speech and drama?

This year for the p6 classes, they are covering oral for 1-2 months. They get the students to come earlier abt half an hour earlier and teach them oral techniques and the best thing is this part is free. The teachers really are dedicated and want to help our kids. So far, they have covered reading and the conversation part and for each part, they have clear techniques to handle. For other levels, there is no oral.

Do you know if we could purchase extra creative writing books from TAS for our friends?

I don't think they will sell it to non- TAS student per my understanding. If I am not wrong, they have a record. Of course, you may want to confirm with staff there.
