Booked a cruise to Redang for June during Natas Fair. The deal is good (in my opinion). Paid $1700+ for 2A and 2C for balcony class.

Still finding out more information about Redang, intend to do F&E; wondering which part is a good place for the children to feed the fishes?

I went to Redang but not with cruise, but i think the cruise brings the guests to Laguna Resort. If you check the top most picture on http://www.redang.org/resorts.htm , there is this Redang Lagoon and Redang Bay. You just walk from the Laguna Beach to the beach here.... You can find a lot of fishes here for feeding with water at waist level.

We went on the cruise to Rendang with my son 5+ yrs old then last yr. He enjoyed it very much. We watched the shows on the ship every nite and went to the swimming pool. He went to the kids play area for about 2 hrs. You can just drop off your kids there. Rendang was ok. There a music band and singing but its very hot and crowded.

oh did you join any shore excursions when reach Redang?

We went last year and was very sunny and windy. We didn't joined the paid shore excursions but we take their foc ferry transfer to the jetty and from there, there is a land transfer to bring us to a resort.

We spent a couple of hours at the beach as my gal was having a lot of fun. The beach is really very nice - fine sand, clear sea and blue sky... Just abit too sunny that got us very tan.... Oh, there is a live band performing at the beach too.. Also, it is quite crowded during peak season.

              Hi,

May I know if the Starcruise allows 2 adults & 3 young kids in the stateroom?
Any good package for coming June Holidays?

                  Applejuz,
Starcruise cabins are rather small... tried out inside stateroom n balacony romm b4. inside - e toilet super cramp! balacony - just nice for 3 of us (2A1C). n it come with S$200 dining credits.

or maybe u want to get a connecting rooms.

Jun packages are more expensive and the lower catergory rooms are mostly sold out by now.

                    Hi,

I’m planning to bring my family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) for cruise this coming Jun school holiday. As I’d never been to one, would like to know whether is there any room that is big enough for us or whether they have adjoining room if we need 2 rooms.

                    My children are 5, 7, 8 & 11 yrs old.

                    Thanks,
                    Josh

Yes, Starcruise provides free tender boats to and from the island. Ride is about 20 minutes.
