Nowadays, very often my ds requests us to da bao dinner for him instead of following us out and eat together as he has work to do and he find wasting time waiting for food outside ... really so much work or matter of time management? how to tell him it is ok to eat out and hang around with us occasionally, at this age quite strong minded liao and if you luo suo some more will end up with lots of tension. Then again still it is better to keep them occupied right? 🤷

Don't think they neglect Maths and Science. The HCI students usually has no problem coping with Maths and Science except those who switch-off. It is the language that needs constant build-up and cna't study over night.
my ds english is very bad, anybody can help on how to improve in literary analysis and reading & reasoning ?

R&R is a subject yr DS must understand what the author or articles was trying to tell and also the way the teacher wants d answer to be presented . DS used almost a year to figure out how to score an A, DS scores were C to B then A.So don worry too much yr DS will learn.
I think it's a leap from PSLE Compre to R and R as you can practically lift everything for PSLE Compre but R and R, I would say, having more knowledge on history helps as providing past examples will enhance your ans
For me, I would use Point>Evidence>Example to write my answers.

                Hope this helps

Really this for your helps but

Don't quite get your meaning, can u b more specific

If you are a HCI parent you should receive a letter or email to get informed. But you can also come to this forum nowadays... šŸ˜‰

I can't find in my mailbox. I have received emails from the school before such as for parents symposium. But not this one.

                        Good morning, parents! 😃

I missed the talk due to last min. office work :frustrated: ..
I have checked with my DS' form teacher and she says that the presentations for the language talk is, unfortunately, not allowed to be put on HCI website.. neither are the teachers allowed to email the soft copies to parents who request for them.
