Saw http://www.amazon.co.uk/Numberjacks-Are-Their-Way/dp/B000MV835G at Popular. Amazon's review seems good. Any parents tried this dvd before?
I guess the problem with educational DVDs is some kids truly enjoyed them while others may find it boring. My kid didn't enjoyed the \"Numberjacks\", so far he only watched it twice and most time he was not watching but playing with his \"trucks trucks\" toys in his hands.
Frankly, I wished that I had not get it because I personally didn't like it too. \"Boring\" is too mild a word to describe it.
Ok, my kid's favorite DVDs now are:-
(a) Leapfrog DVD - \"Letter Factory\" and \"Word Factory\",
(b) \"I'm an animal\" DVD (vol. 1 & 2).
For the \"I'm an animal\" DVD, he would shout out the name of some of the animals too.

Hi all,
This learning programme adopts the concept of the Shichida method and Glenn Doman flash cards methodology of right brain training.

Yeah, it's the same one as OKTO. Thing is as an inexperience parent, i may jumped my gun too soon. My kids have began to enjoy the Numberjacks DVDs now. Probably their interests have grown, also maybe they grown sick of the usual Barney's and Little Eisten's DVDs ..

Hi,
For all iPhone users, I've found an iPhone apps recently to train on right brain image memory via a learning game using sets of dot icons. I tried it on my 3 years old child and he was hooked to it. Even my 6 years old girl like it. It has several games training on speed calculation, instant and spatial memory and I believe it's a good learning game for kids where they can play anywhere, anytime. You may download the lite version in the link below:

Enjoy and let me know how your kids find it
