so far, had heard of boys getting bullied, from as young as P1.
but not so for P1 girls ? -
American research shows every 7 minutes in the USA, some kid in America is being bullied
-
it’s quite worrying to hear more cases of kids as young as p1 getting bullied in sch right? is there any measures to reduce such a trend?
-
Indeed it is !
high time for either individual school or MOE to give talks on how to deal with P1 school bully - during K2 orientation talk year end December, just before P1 start. These are real life practical issues to handle. Even in some "branded" schools also encounter P1 bully. -

i guess parents have to do their part to instill the right values in our children. schools should also have more talks and counseling services to tackle these problems. sometimes kids are just afraid to voice out that they are being bullied so we should have a platform for them to be courageous enough to share their situationIndeed it is !

Hi,
Communication with your child is very important.
When my child have a problem or if he gets bullied in class
he will inform me.
There was once I personally went to my son’s classroom to talk to
his teacher because he constantly gets bullied by a boy sitting behind him.
After confronting his teacher, the bully was moved to a table far away from my son’s desk.
After seeing me, the bully don’t dare disturb my son.
I believe, to prevent bullying, the best is to do what I did…
which is to talk to the teacher and ask the teacher what is he or she going to do about it. -
hi all,
wat do you know, sg has it.

The kid’s parent should talk to the teacher. If that fails, at least the principal should be informed about it.

If yr child was bullied in school but do not know which level they are n their names, how would you handle it? Form teacher and discipline master was informed but they can’t do anything coz the child is unable to pin point who they are.
Should I just let the matter rest or is there another way to pursue this?
