my daughter does not have the BSG vaccine. I went to the NUH to give her the vaccine last month and the pediatrician did not want to do the vaccine as he said not efficient to such \"old\" kids (6 year old) and give us a letter for the primary one registration. However I have contacted the MOE and the Health promotion board. The MOE just replied \"We would like to share with you that with reference to Singapore’s National Childhood Immunisation Schedule, all children (Singapore Citizens and Non-Singapore Citizens) should have completed the following immunisations before entry into Primary One: BCG1 dose (usually given at birth)\", and the Promotion health board has not replied me. Did anyone register hi kids in Primary one with not all vaccination. I fear that without this vaccine, I cannot register her. If any body has faced this situationI will greatly appreciate some good news

      :thankyou:

        Hi ChouChou,

You may wish to verify your child complete list of vaccination here, that is, if she's born here.

Hello, we live 1 - 2km from Haig Girls (my second choice) and >2km from CHIJ Katong (my first choice). We are Singaporeans but since my husband and i did not grow up here, we are only eligible for 2C (our son goes to St Stephens) Can i take the risk of going to CHIJ? or should i go straight to Haig Girls’? Please advice as i am clueless with the registration system and don’t want to jeopardize my daughter’s education!

You may like to monitor the registration status of the two schools and decide on the third day which school you should go for.

This is what i have been advised by some, to monitor, then register on the third day as school would be in a better position to tell me if they are likely to ballot. They say it is not "first come, first serve" basis within the three days, is this true?

It’s true, else there won’t be a need for balloting system.

The places will just go to those at the head of the queue.

Then we will see queues forming a week before registration!

CHIJ Katong > 2km: high risk.
