      Just2Random:

      Hi CRYSTALRN,

The student will be exempted from examinations in the 4th term. During this time, he/she may go for a fully sponsored trip.

      Thanks, Just2Random!
So, he/she would miss learing new stuff taught during term 4...
Or possibly, RV doesn't teach new stuff in term 4?

I thought the child will just be exempted from examination but not the term 4 lessons.

So the child won't be missing classes in term 4 and there will be new stuffs taught in term 4.

The student will go on the trip during exam period, however they still need to attend lessons as usual in term 4.
How is it possible that the school doesn't teach any thing new in the whole term? :?[/quote]Thank you, justsay!

I think it should be when they got their term 3 GPA, because that’s when they know if they got the required GPA.

My son is gonna apply for Dsa for RV 2013. My son got A in Chinese and distinction in Higher Chinese in both p.5 SA 2 and p.6 SA 1. Should he take the GAT test? Actually what the GAT test for as he may opt to take or not?He got Wushu blackbelt and Grade 2 in violin as well. Do this eca help for his application? Thx a lot.

Maybe the wushu blackbelt would help, but not the grade 2 in violin.

Sports talent does helps in the DSA as RV is getting more focus with a few sports.

 get your DS or DD into Badminton (Li Ning sport) - the door would be wide open for them to RV -

my DS says that li ning's boss son is in RV - so, good to support that branded sport lah.

Li Ning is so tightly intergrated with RV from top to bottom (notice the socks!!! :rotflmao: ) that people mistaken RV = Li Ning HS -- :hugs: as one happy couple :hugs:

Actually if he dsa w the wushu blackbelt and he passes the remaining dsa tests, he is sort of\" guranteed\" a space in rv alr. So aft psle results are out and he chooses rv as his 1st choice, he cfm go into rv one :heresmyfish:
