Tampines Mall forever crowded.

I get a headache when i do go there.
So many things to see and soooo many ppl around!

Any tips for blur East-side-shoppers like me? :?:

yes, tampines mall is always so crowd, don't go there during wkends, can't get carpark lots at all. in fact, hub hates to go there, most of the time just drop me off. i like to go to the basement, spolit for choices for the avail snacks and bread.

C.K the best time to shop in Tampines, is from 10am till about 4pm. Parking is easier during this time. I always do my shopping during this time, and avoid the Mall on weekends. Its too crowded. I agree with CK on the parking it could be a hassel.

i can understand yr \"agony\", sometimes the Q to the entrance of the tampines carpark caused bad traffic jam to the side road.

i remembered once (think abt 2 yrs ago) we parked at next bldg but the parking fees was charged at
1 st hour -------$0.01 per minute
2 nd hour ------- $0.02 per minute
3 rd hour onwards-------$0.03 per minute
on top of that, if the entry is before their PER ENTRY TIMING (let say 1701 hr), yr parking fees was still based on per minute charged thru out.

luckily , we din park for that long......otherwise.... :x

i think they had since changed their parking fees .....anyway, we would not wanna to park there again to try try.......

I parked my car at your shopping mall today from approximately 2:58pm till about 9:30pm, and when I exited the carpark, to my horror I saw the parking charges amounted to $9.96. As it was late and I was leaving your mall, I did not drive back in to verify the matter.
The amount deducted varies greatly from what you have published on your website, of which I have attached a copy. The parking charges should be about $3.18 instead. Can you verify that your parking charges as published are correct and that I should get a refund for the incorrect deduction?

As spoken to you this afternoon on the error, however after checking with Metro Parking, the amount deducted is in fact correct.

It is regrettable that there is an misunderstanding on the parking rate. The interpretation is as follows. So long as your ENTRY is between 0301hrs to 1700hrs, your parking will be base on per minute structure of charging, unless your ENTRY is between 1701 to 0300 then it will be base on per entry basis. Therefore, as per policy, the flat rate $1.30 for a weekdays does not apply. It is base on the ENTRY timings of the vehicle and not a mixed tier structure.

For the 1st hour, we are charging at $0.01 per minute and $0.02 per minute for the 2nd hour. Only upon the 3rd hour onwards, it will be charge at $0.03 per minute

The entry time for your vehicle was at 2.58pm till 9.30pm is tabulated as below:-
2.58 – 3.58 : 60mins x $0.01 = $0.06
3.58 – 4.58 : 60mins x $0.02 = $1.20
4.58 – 5.58 : 60mins x $0.03 = $1.80
5.58 – 6.58 : 60mins x $0.03 = $1.80
6.58 – 7.58 : 60mins x $0.03 = $1.80
7.58 – 8.58 : 60mins x $0.03 = $1.80
8.58 – 9.30 : 32mins x $0.03 = $0.96
Total $9.96

Oh, you can try parking at century square or tampines 1.
Or you try to go there earlier
