She spent $1750 altogether. The total cost of toy guns was $490 more than the total cost of teddy bears.

Amount spent on teddy bears ----- (1750 - 490)/2 = 630

Amount spent on toy guns ----- 1750 - 630 = 1120

Boys :Girls : Men Women = 4u:6u:25u:45u
(Boys --> 2/5*10u = 4u, Men --> 5/14*70u = 25u)

The average thickness of 3 identical books is 5mm thicker than the average thickness of 2 magazines. Find the thickness of a book if the average thickness of the books and magazines is 12mm.

Thickness of each book = (60 mm + 5mm x 2)/5 = 14 mm
