I've heard of two pretty good places! The Alternative Story and The Learning Lab.//Moderator's note: Topics merged.
Anyone can recommend compo writing classes? :?
The Alternative Story was quite effective for my friend's son. They teach composition witing in themes. They are able to teach in a very simple manner. My friend's son showed significant improvement just after 2 months of lessons. I think they teach using mind maps and mneumonics.
Learning Lab has a very good reputation too. But I think it's not as structured. And the prices are much higher as well. -
Hi Herbie,
I sent you a pm. I hope it helps, my dd had a similar prob but after applying what I mentioned, she really improved. -
Hi Marie,

Hi Herbie,

I've been searching high and low for creative writing classes too. The Alternative Story sounds good. Can you pm me the contact please? -
