I also applied under 2A2 but is in Shuqun. I was told the confirmation letter (1st page of the application form) will be sent out after 17 Jul and I also haven't receive it.

I think different schools have different procedures. I've just learnt that for Bukit Panjang Primary, they will only send out confirmation letters after Phase 2C (it may be originally after all phases, but usually all vacancies will be filled by then).

But you do at least have the carbon copy of the application form right? That should be proof of your application in case anything goes wrong.

This Year 2B registration felt like 2C especially in popular schools.

So 2C will feel like SC competing in foreign school, similar to PR in a certain way.

Just saw results for De La Salle, out of 72 places, 47 taken up! Tmrw going to register and just try my luck. If cannot get a place for DLS at Phase 2B and I move to 2C for Yew Tee, does it mean its auto cancelled and you can freely apply for Phase 2C at Yew Tee?

Hi Maxine, where did u find this info? Did not see this at DLS website today. I went and registered yesterday. RO said too early to say if any balloting this year, but last year didn't have.
Also, since you are going to register today, can you post the number of registrants, and SC vs PR numbers.

yes, registration is only valid for a phase. if unsuccessful at that phase, parents are required to register their children again at a later phase.

It's not auto. You need to register again.

If you are unsuccessful in the ballot in P2B means that you didn't secure a slot, as such no withdrawal is required cos you are not in. Withdrawal is needed only when you have already secure a place. If you want to try again in P2C, you will have to re-register again as other parents may not want to re-register in that same sch, thus, auto cannot be apply in anyway.
You have to be there to register again in any other phases.

I just need to pray hard that i dont need to go into balloting in P2B and hence, need not to go through the agony of P2C!
