      Hi all NAPS P1 parents,

did any of your child pass you a yellow CCA form to sign yesterday?
DD said she was asked to join Guzheng by her teacher
i was quite surprised as my DS (now P4) was only asked to join CCA when he was in P3, but now the school start them at P1

DD is very keen to join, i think a few of her friends are joining too.
after looking at the timetable, it is every monday 2.15-4.15pm.
anyone here letting their kids join CCA or is it too early?

        Chloecube,

I’d say "go for it!" definitely, they must hv spot some talent or u wouldn’t get this invitation to join in P1.

My son is in P1 and earlier this year, I inquired abt joining a sports CCA, but coach told me P1 & P2’s r only allowed to join arts n dance type CCA before P3, n of course that’s dependent on talent as usually hv to audition.

Join if ur child is keen!!

          hihi,

i am not sure if DD has any talent in music as she has never attended any before 😂
but i saw her bringing home forms of table tennis, choir before and now this guzheng

the earlier 2, she didnt like, but now ask me to allow her to join guzheng
i hope its not a temporary interest for her.

will let her try out and see how it goes 🙂

            Chloecube,

It's perfect if this is a CCA she has an interest in.
Wow!! Wish my son could get such invitation for table tennis! 🙂
Nice to try the CCA before there is more and more academic pressure.

😓 DD must have been hyper active in class

actually i prefer them to start in P3 for cca, i think p1 too young

How about between Ngee Ann and Haig Girls?
...my son is in P1 at NAPS n we r impressed.
...my daughter is in P3 at HGS n think abt transferring her, but would it be a wise move?

                    Thx for any advice! 🙂

Someone shared her thoughts about transferring her daughter to another school:
