Well, on the other hand....29 girls within 1km will still get it. May be one place will be for your daughter. All the best mummies. :xedfingers:

Nope, if I were you I would put them in a co'ed school, their school homework would be the same and you can guide or teach them together. you'll have double chance balloting with 2 tickets, If either one of the twins is being picked, the other will get in too.

        I don't think that's quite right.

        For twins,

Option 1: you get only one balloting slip but with both names on it. If picked, both will get in.

Option 2: you get 2 balloting slips, each with the name of one of the twins. ONLY the slip that got picked will get a place in the school. The other twin will have to apply at a different school at a later phase.

As far as I know, school would put twins together. That's what happened to my friend's twins in SCGS.

Maybe can consider RGPS beside SCGS and SMPS. Now 35 out of 42 places.

omg 41 SCs < 1km for SCGS.... gone... gone... gone...

Wah! Suay! Move into < 1km from SCGS since 2.5 years ago.. all planning for this day.... shattered dreams, if you ask me!

Brighter side of things..... the property prices have shot up since 2.5 years ago... But $$$ is not everything! :stupid:

No point of me registering my gal in SCGS.... the number are too far apart... 29/41 more to come!

Steamystream- don't be despair yet...2 more days to go. As of now, 41 for 29 seats , you still have >70% chance. St Marg and Marymount Convent still quite a no. of seats and you are 1-2kim St Marg right? Don't worry, chances should be quite high.

how many PRs apply for SCGS, end of day 1 ?
in the event PRs no chance left at SCGS (very high possiblity), they may consider change wind direction and blow towards St Marg or Marymount.

                  Attention all SCGS aspirants!

Don’t only look at smgs as alternative.

RGPS, NYPS, MGS all still have spaces! There’s still a chance of no ballot if you live outside of 2km.

tomorrow first thing in the morning, call up Nanyang, MGS, RGPS get first hand info on distance break down and zoom in on # of SC. Ignore PR as they have to queue over the other side, wait until the last SC > 2km has got in, only then can they start charging in (if ever this can happen).

what are the existing stats as of end today? it is hard to imagine that we stand a chance beyong 2km....

                        MGS 25 out of 28
                        RGPS 35 out of 42
                        NYPS 23 out of 25

does anyone know how may are SCs < 1km?
