I have just registered my twin for Berries K1. I am interested to buy the latest K1 books x 2 sets. Anyone selling, pls pm me.

I have already tried Jiang and Han.

But I found both of them are not good.

My 3 kids all attend SkyLace. The eldest (Sec 4) has attended since P3. The teachers are local or those who have been here a long time. I particularly recommend their primary program. They have a good methodology and structure. T Some of the teachers are very good and popular with kids. Need to note their material, worksheets and tests are pitched at more difficult level - good for those in SAP schools or schools with high Chinese standard. Many years ago, my son attended Berries World and Eduplus but their standard is not as difficult as the school tests.

Incidentally, Skylace gave a picture compo which is very similar to this year's PSLE Chinese picture compo (kids playing near drain) two weeks before the PSLE. My friend said its worth all her effort sending her child these few years!

Original Title: Jiang education versus Hua Cheng versus Berries


My son currently attending berried, K1 but heard from friends that Hua Cheng n Jiang standard are higher n better prepared for primary one, any comment?

I am pulling my K2 and P1 children out of berries by this year end.

Any idea which is better - Busybees or Molin?

DD is in tien hsia P3 class now. Am wondering whether to change school to Xue Lin. Are the materials in Xue Lin tougher? Are the teachers in XueLin qualified teachers? Do they go according to MOE syllabus? Do they allow make up class?

Can I check how’s tien hsia p3 class? I’m still undecided if I want to continue with the p3 next year:( also, I don’t like the p2 writing class this year but they are going to add the oral component into the writing class, so am also hesitating too. If we dropout then it is very diff to get a slot later… Hiaz!
