Imami:
Same here. Trial-and-error.
But you are right – I, for one, don’t read instruction manuals :rotflmao:PhoBIA:
Imami,
My kids don't read instructions too. I read for them.
Most children don't or rather most people don't. How often adults read instruction manuals? We conveniently ask.
My K2 boy is starting to show a little independence. He will try to read it, interprets it andask me if it is correct. Hopefully, when he is in p1, I can let go. :boogie: -
My ds is in p4 now, his handwriting is so bad that the teacher refused to grade his compo writing before. All his teachers feedback to me abt it.
It is easier to correct it when they r young. -
I think it is habitual cos he will make an effort to write neater.
His handwriting is ESP bad when he is rushing to finish his work so he can play. -
hi parents, u can try to download some free tracing fonts and get ur dc to copy them until they write nicely…
just google "tracing fonts" and u should get some free downloads… -
Wonder is there still hope of improving the handwriting of a 12 years old. My DS handwriting is really bad. Now that his PSLE is over, I thought maybe get him to do some penmanship. Fortunately he didn’t complain as it afterall a big discount compared to the amount of work he has to do during his PSLE preparation.
Anyone got some good suggestions? -

[quote="sleepy"]Any idea where can I buy pencil gripe? Do u mean those little gadgets that help the kids to hold the pencil properly?
If yes, popular hv. Got left hander’s and righthander’s. Each less than $3(cant remember). -
My ds writes in cursive and when the letters are unjointed, they are with all the flicks and tails. Is this acceptable in spore ? He’ll be in primary 1 in 2014.

My DD who will be in P1 in 2014 is showing interest in cursive method.
