      Hi Poohbear,

Is it you can have more than 1 referral for each term sign-up of 10 classes. Cos I see you have so many referrals so im just wondering if CMA gives you 8% discount for each referral or they only give you a 1 time off of 8% discount for each term? Thanks. šŸ™‚

              Hi,

Currently, my DS is in CMA. He is coping pretty well in his P2 Maths. Just want to check if there are parents out there who supplements CMA with curriculum based tuition? Or most parents think that CMA is sufficient for the kids to cope with P1-P6 Maths?

              TIA.

                Hihi,
Is the discount applicable only in the same centre as yours or if I can use it at another branch? This is because am thinking to sign my DD with the parkway branch....

                    Hi wkrf,

DD1 started with CMA since K1. Currently she is in P2 and i would say, her speed in arithmetic calculation is good. However, the school portions on modelling, guess and check methods have to be separately reinforced at home. She does not attend any other Maths class.

On the overall, our initial objectives of sending DD1 to CMA for both speed and right brain training are met. DD1 just stopped the class in Sep reaching Grade 6 n Gr 7 in mental n arithmetic. She asked to stop as the homework was getting tough n take up too much time. šŸ˜“ DD1 did ok for her SA2 exam šŸ†’

DD2 is still carrying on at Gr 10 and 9.

                    Hope this helps šŸ˜„

                      Hi Poohbear,

Thanks for sharing. Yes, agree. The school portion still needs to be reinforced at home. My DS is does not like maths modelling method. And, the exposure to exam questions is not provided in CMA. So, he needs the practise to be able to answer the exam questions.
