Hi i was reading the link and there is 1 section i dont quite understand..., is there a second award window after the school posting? Because in the link, it advised that one should check online if eliglible for the award shoul one be posted to a IS...SSM123:
Dont think 250 is top 10% this year. My son got 251, but I didn't see the statement on the EESIS scholarship being printed on the S1 option form. Many students did very well, so the cut off point could be higher this year.
top 10% does not qualify for eesis
it is the top 1/3 of the independent school intake, which is roughly 262.
IS / IP schools cater to the top 10%, which is 250 and above
entering the IP / IS school does not automatically means qualify for eesis
so, for 251, you will not see the eligibility statement in the S1 form -
Any official website published that one thirdth of all students in IS school is 3%, approximately?
Why everyone has this impression? -

dd normal meanstream with T-Score 263+3, PSLE Result doesn't reflect the status of EESIS.
From my understanding, the status of EESIS only will make known after
announcing the S1 posting result for students who admitted to an independant school.
Yes. I have checked again the PSLE Result as what Jtoh advised, indeed my dd is eligible for the EESIS.

is in the moe link provided that says the top 1/3 in IP/IS school gets the eesisAny official website published that one thirdth of all students in IS school is 3%, approximately?
Why everyone has this impression?
now every body knows SEAB/MOW draw the 10% line of the bell curve at 250
and 250 is the min required for IP /IS entry
so, isn't top 1/3 = 10%/3 approx 3.3% ? -
