Any official website published that one thirdth of all students in IS school is 3%, approximately?

      Why everyone has this impression?

dd normal meanstream with T-Score 263+3, PSLE Result doesn't reflect the status of EESIS.

From my understanding, the status of EESIS only will make known after
announcing the S1 posting result for students who admitted to an independant school.

Is your child a singapore citizen?

Yes. I have checked again the PSLE Result as what Jtoh advised, indeed my dd is eligible for the EESIS. πŸ˜„

is in the moe link provided that says the top 1/3 in IP/IS school gets the eesis

now every body knows SEAB/MOW draw the 10% line of the bell curve at 250

and 250 is the min required for IP /IS entry

                so, isn't top 1/3 = 10%/3 approx 3.3% ?

I have been thinking though that it is about time the quantum for the EESIS be raised. It has been $200 for years now. But the fees of the IS have all been raised and many are at $300. Anyone going to start a petition?

Will COPs of HCI, NJC, RVHS, RI and DHS go up or down?

Here are the background information of their PLSE COP (Lower), Upper and Median. I use EESIS (COP of top 3%) as the reference.

Note: I got the information on pupil numers, Lower, Upper and Median of PSLE for each school from MOE and EESIS from this forum.

Opinion 1: The COPs to these top IP schools will go up as
                        1) There are more pupils than last year (but it is comparable to 2009/2010).
                        2) There is higher EESIS this year.

Opinion 2: The COPs to some of these top IP schools might go down as there are more IP schools this year and they will, more or less, attract some of the top scorers (T-score>260)

My opinion: The COPs to these school may go up 1 mark.

                        What is your opinion?
