Any NYPS parents with kids in P1 or P2 next year?

I just went to recee the Toh Tuck campus- aiyoh- very narrow entrance gate and even more narrow drive way to get to drop of kids…my kids are on school bus so I am not stressed, but I can just imagine the potential car jam that will take place once school starts…

My P2-going gal made a comment- "it feels like my kindergarten" - due to the low rise classrooms and vast open space- but to me that is a good thing- very quaint and basic campus altough I cannot remember where the canteen is supposed to be?

      Anyone else seen the site?

I think I heard Mrs Lee saying that the canteen is small...big enough to hold only one class of students. Considering there will be 26 classes of students at the Toh Tuck campus, it is not feasible to have recess at the canteen.

My Ds2 will be there next year and my Ds1 will remain at old campus. My father in law will pick them up after school. I recee the place sometime back and can forsee the traffic jam during peak hours. So fast, next Sat will be P1 orientation again.

Start to worry on his studies. 😂

              hi limaiimm0803

Nanyang base their transfer purely on academic results only? distance from home doesnt matter? same for all schools? how do school decide since p1 has no exams? sorry for my ignorance, trying to familarise myself with the school system here.

Based on past orientation, it is not required to be in NY school uniform, ie can come in any outfit 😄 .

For P1, yes they are supposed to wear uniform at Toh Tuck. I called the General Office to check, as this is a 'extraordinary' orientation. 😂
