My DD was posted to CCHMS. I would like to know what is usually school time for sec 1 student at CCHMS. Thanks.
Hi, the school time is varied from class to class. If your kid is in some special \"talented class\", the dismissal tme is generally at 2.30~3.30 almost everyday, otherwise will be around 1.30~2.30pm. Bear in mind that he or she still needs to stay back for CCA activity until 5~6pm. -

Hi, I am a student and I did not get posted to CCHMS- my first choice and my mother went to appeal. I have a T-score of 238, wonder if there would be a high chance of getting in. I went to the sch 2 times and I really like the environment, so I really really want to get into the sch.
Hope someone can help! Thks!
Hi, U may try to appeal and do bear in mind that there are uausally a lot of people appealing as well. Do not put too high hope of it. This is just my advice -

Marks are taken into consideration for the talent development classes.
1Gr is TD sci/math, they are selected based on their PSLE maths and science results. 1DL should be TD chinese, I guess they are selected based on chinese/Higher Chinese results too. -

From wat I see in the timetable, 1CR and 1LY are music special program classes. 1CR have 1 period of Music special program every wed n 1LY every Fri. As for how they are selected for Music special program class, I am not too sure, , but maybe your son plays any musical instrument or some form of music background?
1GR is the TD MS class, they are selected based on their PSLE math n Science results. Means that the sch actually got the studentsβ actual score from MOE and put the top 20(+/-) in math n top 20(+/-) in science into either TD math or TD sci of this class. That was wat the VP told us last year.
