Oh, the new timing is atrocious. Some children would be lunching at 2+ by the time they reach home. So dinner at 7-8?? Sleep at 8.30?? (6-12 yrs old need 10-11hrs of sleep)

Is another exciting year for our children in YZPS. 🕺

I am surprised that the class size increased from 30 students to current 41 students!
not easy to handle a class of that size. 😓

Is it confirmed that it is a bigger class size ie 40 children now as compared with 30 previously because it is single session now? This applies to all levels including P1?

                    Dear Parents

In accordance with MOE’s guidelines, P1 & P2 will be packed at 30 pupils per class to allow the pupils time to transit from kindergarten to primary school. At the P3 to P6 levels, class sizes will increase beyond 30.

                    Thank you.

                    Regards

Actually can’t bear the thought if ‘packing’ children in classes. Would the school considering ‘pegging’ instead?

Did any parents attend the Teachers-meet-Parents sessions last week?

I went for both DS and DD’s sessions.

I was quite disappointed with the time we had to wait for a few of the sessions. Some parents are obviously a lot more inquisitive and curious about their kid(s), but teachers should have known to control the time spent on each parent, so as not to cause others to wait too long.

Either that, or hopefully the school can plan better for future sessions.

                        tks…
