Do we need to bring the textbooks on 1st day of school ? Are any types of white shoes allowed ? Bought adidas for my son, but the logo has slight gold color , dun know whether the school allowed. Appreciate reply soon!
R u refering to P1? I believed during orientation for P1, they should have already informed you, right?
As for shoes, pure white is safest.
They don't even allow watches other than black strap type, so what do you think? :!: -
I think the best place to get the uniform is from the school.
I recalled for p1; the first few days would be moments of confusion. There will be a buddy to buddy system ie a "big" brother or sister would take care of the p1 kids.
The teachers will usually collect the activity books but may not happen on the first day of school as there will be so much admin work to do. -

I had the same \"fear\" some years ago. The ans is NO; this orange woven badge will \"follow\" your kid for the rest of the years in Rulang.
Don't buy too many sets of uniform or pe attire as the kid outgrows very fast. You can save the badges for future use.
My dd will be p5 next year! -

I think no need LAH!
Do you think lessons will start on the first day of school? Also, there is no CA in p1. There will be a mock test in early Apr. There is mid year and year-end exam.
BTW, do you intend to prepare bread or sandwich for the kid's recess? Else bring some coins so that the kid can buy some food during recess. There will be a \"big\" brother or sister to guide them. -

I believe during your orientation days, the teachers would have already advised you.
Last year, I was told to pack some textbooks. They will collect it and place in the classroom so that kids would not need to bring everyday.
There will be prefects from P5/6 to guide the P1. 1 prefect guide 2 P1 kids during recess. P1 parents has 1st 3 days to access the school to observe their kiddo during recess time. -
