For my kids, they are very cognizant from day 1 they should NEVER EVER pay for stuff online. They are now on auto mode. free one ok, pay one no way.

:hi5: Same, same. Showed the news to DDs and they can't believe that the boy can be so silly. Hubby was introduced to Candy Crush by DDs. They can be quite obsessed with it, but if no more lives left, then wait lor! They are quite cool about it. No sweat. They even list out reasons for not buying extra lives, saying that it’s more challenging and fun, and also can rest their eyes while waiting!

I guess it helps my DSes are not surrounded by pp who pay for such items. Should there come a day when their friends all advanced to a certain level of a shared game, I hope their resolve will hold strong.

Maybe boys are more competitive in nature and have more desire to win games. Just drum into them the \"whys\" of not paying for \"free\" games. I'm sure they'll be sensible enough to resist when the time comes.
