Can anyone advise whether need to bring textbooks to school on P1 1st day? Any other impt things to bring?

      I think no need LAH!

Do you think lessons will start on the first day of school? Also, there is no CA in p1. There will be a mock test in early Apr. There is mid year and year-end exam.

BTW, do you intend to prepare bread or sandwich for the kid's recess? Else bring some coins so that the kid can buy some food during recess. There will be a \"big\" brother or sister to guide them.

I believe during your orientation days, the teachers would have already advised you.
Last year, I was told to pack some textbooks. They will collect it and place in the classroom so that kids would not need to bring everyday.

There will be prefects from P5/6 to guide the P1. 1 prefect guide 2 P1 kids during recess. P1 parents has 1st 3 days to access the school to observe their kiddo during recess time.

          Hi ttyh,

I had the same \"fear\" some years ago. The ans is NO; this orange woven badge will \"follow\" your kid for the rest of the years in Rulang.
Oh no...my wife already removed the orange badges!! :stupid:

              Hi shu,

I attended the workshop years ago.
If you have the time, do so as there are not many chances you can enter the school compound "openly". You will have a chance to see your kid during recess from far.
              Quite an experience!

Yes, it is meant for parents whose kids are p1.

I was told that the workshop is full when I went to collect the orientation package in Dec 09.
