      Lavina:
I gave birth at 26, relatively young right? also like that.......

      Yes, 26 is young.

one of my cousin's friends - the wife (herself a doctor) gave birth at 27.
Her husband is a cardiologist. The child is ASD.
      wamin:
You should ask your doctor to write those gummies (also available in syrup) for your kid. My sister in law had those for her daughter and he is getting fat now :). I have name of the syrup, if u want i can PM you.
wamin, may i know the name of these gummies ?
my child is skinny, because she v picky in food, don't eat vegetables, throw out all the peas. Think she need to eat these gummies ... to fatten her up.

        Summer tan:
Actually I've been pondering these questions for quite a while:

        1) the doctor at Jurong Medical Centre-Child Development Unit told me that if one child is ASD, then the sequent one(s) will have 18% chance of being ASD too, and even higher if the next one is a boy. I've a 5yo boy, gave birth early 30s. I've heard alot that having a siblings for ASD kid is helpful but both my hb and I are worried. We are not optimistic with the 82% though..

        2) would there be any chance that a psychologist misdiagnose?
        Summer Tan,

My son's doctor at KKH told me is only 5% that my #3 might be ASD cos my #1 is HF ASD. But she warn that there is higher of developing into other developmental issues.

Still we took that leap of faith. My #2 turns out to be very bright and sweet. I grew up with a lot of siblings. I dun want one day when I am no longer around, my #1 will be totally alone. At least he will have 2 other siblings and 3 of them have each other.

I am keeping my fingers cross that #3 is fine. So far he is meeting his milestones okay. :xedfingers: 🙏

Same as Mashy, I had my 2nd one before my 1st was diagnosed. In fact the 2nd one came as a surprise as we didnt want to hv another kid so soon. My 1st was just 7mths when I found out I was preggy again. But I guess God has his plans for me becos if I know my 1st one’s condition earlier, I will not hv the courage to try for a 2nd kid.

Quality of sperm also important, not just quality of woman's egg.
