My dd was posted to TKSS too. We went to TKSS open house and he immediately fell in love with the school. So when he was been accepted by TKSS, he was elated. The orientation went on well and he likes the principals and teachers. He needs to travel an hour each to/from school. We did warn home of the travel time before he submits his selection. I guess if you really likes the school, you will be motivated to work harder. What is more important is you are happy and you have taken the distance and travel time into consideration when you make your decisin.

Don forget that JC and university may be far from home too... Just my 2 cents worth.

Tkss is a really nice school and it was my dd's dream school . It's a pity that she missed the cut off point by a few points and did not get accepted when appealed . ๐Ÿ˜ž

I went to the open house last year and I think that is is a good school and has nice teachers . ๐Ÿ™‚

According to my son's school, this year should be lower cut-off point because of the generally lower score. Good luck!

Hope that you can kindly share your experience such as
                      - what are the information or things needed to support the appeal in TKSS
                      - will they call the child to go for interview ? roughly when will the interview be ?
                      - how long did you wait for the appeal results

                      TIA !

Friend's son appealed 2 years ago, no interview. But they sent the school letters written by the father, uncle and grandfather coz all from TKSS. The school gave them the notice a week before school reopened.

Then another friend's son appealed 4 years ago and was called up for interview. School notified them 2 weeks after school reopened.

So seems like the requirement each year is different.
