imho, a lot of people spend too much of their time thinking about ( and getting upset/annoyed/envious ) what they DON'T have, what others have, what others do, what others should not do.

As the following clip indicates, Life is not about having everything, rather it's about making the best of everything you have.

An important trait is not to be affected by what others have, or what others achieve beyond our own, what others are doing that we perceived as not what we would do, etc etc.

An open heart, an open mind. :imanangel: :imanangel:

I just love what you shared here. Thanks a zillions.

Life to me is to enjoy what God gives me each day, and be grateful and give thanks and glory to God.

          Hi,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's interesting and I share it with my DS (P4) who coincidentally asked me this question. However, from his expression he seems to have lots of questions that I can't answer thus I asked him to write out his questions and opinions instead.

          (1) What were we before we were born?
His guess: Other life forms lurking in somewhere else. We may have been humans 500 years ago or alients or even monsters. We could have done good and bad things and was reborn. We might have did more bad things and gone to hell, but was given another chance.

(2)What will happen after we die?
His guess: We might go to heaven or hell or be reborn 500 years later. We might be an alien or a living thing.

          (3) What is our purpose in life?
His guess: To live, to see if we go to heaven , hell or be reborn again. We might have been born to reproduce. Maybe to live it to the fullest. To have an experience. We might be in a game.

Appreciate on sharing, how to tackle his questions.

          Cheers,

Perhaps it's time to introduce this book to your DS , Sophie's World.

Sophie's World, written by Norwegian writer Jostein Gaarder. It follows the events of Sophie Amundsen, a teenage girl living in Norway and Alberto Knox, a middle aged philosopher who introduces her to philosophical thinking and the history of philosophy. It was originally written in Norwegian, the novel was later translated into fifty-three languages, with over thirty million copies in print.

The book begins with Sophie receiving two anonymous messages in her mailbox; the first asking, \"Who are you?\", the second asking, \"Where does the world come from?\"..........

My warmest regards to your DS, hope he enjoys the read....

Thanks, mamago. I'll check out the library.

Everybody will have several answers for this question it seems. Am also not sure to get one answer for it.

                I suggest you one method:
Take a blank paper and write what's the purpose of your life?
First answer will be some sort of words or sentence anything which pops in your mind.
And write the answers until it makes you cry.
Am not sure it ll work for all.

Hope it ll help you šŸ™‚

There is no purples in my life for me. Maybe the purple is to live and live, then die.
