If I could turn back the clock, I probably would focus more on teaching good character and good decision making skills for my two kids. It's not too late now though if I had started earlier in their lives, they probably have internalised them by now. (one is 13 the other 9). Being an ex-school teacher, I put quite a bit of emphasis on academic. They are doing well in school but their EQ and MQ (moral quotient) are not as good as I would prefer. EQ and MQ are truly very important. So I have recently gotten hold of a licence to do a wonderful program for kids. You may like to read about it at http://www.gurukidspro.com/services under Course 4 BrainWise program (though not as complete yet) as well as at http://brainwise-plc.org/. If you would like to purchase its curriculum, you may do so through me to get a discount. I am looking at introducing to schools to incorporate into their curriculum so that our kids will grow up learning how to make GOOD decisions. I am also looking for trainers who would like to learn to conduct the course which I have adapted to our local culture.Cheers,
