Hi all, I bought 2 years(2019 and 2018) of P6 exam papers(5 subjects) from Jeremy Exam Papers last Nov, at the price of $65 each set. After received, I checked and found that they short of sending the HCL papers for both years. I texted them but there was not reply and I forgot about it until recently. Couple of weeks ago I texted them, and while trying to search back old messages, I also found out that I actually overpaid them by $30, which both the driver and person who took order, kept quiet about it.
I was given their boss’s contact, but the boss was not keen at all to send me the 2 sets of HCL which I paid for(I even suggest to collect myself), or refund the amount I have overpaid. I sent him all the mss and proof of bank transfer, and he just stop replying.
Very dishonest vendor, it is not even a big amount but they rather keep quiet and hoping the incident will past, than returning what they owe.

RE: Red Swastika
Hi Mummies
I am looking for kids P3 next year who would like to join a home based Maths tution class. So far there is 2 RSS kids(including mine) confirming and we need one more to start a new class with this tutor(ex teacher) at a new time slot. Tutor told us that it will be good if we can have all RSS kids in same class so he can teach according to same standard, follow school topics flow and also revision for tests/exams will be done at similar pace since our test/exams all same dates
Venue: Near Hougang Central
Day and Time: Every Sat morning 11.30am.
Pls PM or email me if any one is interested as I don’t check back this thread often. Thanks! -

SengkangMum:
Thanks for your reply! I am keeping MM for consideration, and also looking at another home based tuition. If your gal is P3 next year, you can PM me if keen. So far we have two kids, and trying to get one more to start a new class on Sat morning 11.30am. The location is near Hougang central.Hi appleng,
I personally went down to one of their branch in Sengkang on tuesday. My gal went through their diagnostic assessment and we have Spoke to Ms stella who is the person in charge. Felt quite comfortable talking to her. She have also shown me some of their worksheets . Overall, The program seems interesting and challenging.
But one thing i may not feel so comfortable like what you mentioned, all classes of different level and age groups are combined into 2 classroom though there are about 3-4 teachers inside the room to coach the child individually. My gal personally don't really like the environment as she commented that it is quite noisy in the room while she is doing her assessment test. Though i did not get a chance to see their classroom but i managed to take a quick peek outside their room and the classroom inside seems quite organized. I will have to re-consider to place my gal there not because of the program but depends on my gal decision of where she
would prefer tomhave her lesson as i have also brought her to another
centre (not mighty maths). I do have a parent who has shared with me
her positive view of the program. I guess, it is still worth a try of the
program. I believe that the program must have its own value that
benefited quite a number of kids in their learning progress. Honestly, i
don't mind giving it a try but just that my gal don't like the environment!
So, i do not want to force her.

RE: Mighty Math - Discussion
Hi
I just called up Mighty Maths, and learnt that they teach students from all levels in one class with their customize one to one programs. Can any parent tell me if this works for your kids? If the tutor is teaching a kid while the rest is doing assessments, won’t it distract rest of the kids?
Thank you! -

Does anyone knows how is Discovery Camp comparing to Tien Hsia camps? The price difference is quite a bit, so would like to know if DE is very good to command such rates.
