Hi,
My girl (P4) has just decided to join the school’s CCA violin - beginner. Planning to get a basic student size 3/4 for her to start with. Since we don’t have any private teacher to ask, will be getting the ‘school violin teacher’ to help us get one. (I think the teacher is an outsourced vendor as he sells & trade-in violin too)
The teacher has given me 2 brands to choose from - Prillante & Eurostring. Personally I seem to see a lot mentioning Synwin too. I really have no idea what is the diff, all china-made is all I know. Any recommendation from the experienced mommies here? Hope to hear from you soon…as I need to get one by this Fri. Thanks.

RE: Rulang Primary
Hi mothers of P4,
would like to check MOE high achiever programme (HAP).
After the GEP round2 in P3, some kids will be selected for the HAP & placed into cluster based on zone. I believe Rulang falls into W7. Just wondering if any of your kids are in this programme? As I’m still new to Rulang, I have yet to hear anyone mentioning it.
If your kid is in the HAP, where is it held? Thanks. -

RE: [Jurong West] Primary Schools
Hi,
I am considering transferring my 2 kids into Rulang. However, would like to find out more from parents with kids in Rulang.
Currently, I feel that my kids are not challenged enough and there are definitely lotsa room for further development. The current school seem to be a little too laid-back and hence, I am seeking a school that would be able to help build a stronger foundation and also, provide more exposure.
Parents, can you share on what are some of the enrichment/activities/events/outings that Rulang has organised for the higher primary and also the standard of the teachers? Your inputs and feedback will be much appreciated.
