      Hi all,

Heard that there is manmade snow in Alpensia & YongPyong.
Does anyone know when will it start?

    • RE: Travel: Taiwan - Taipei

I am planning a 9D8N trip to Taipei, out of which, 3D2N in CingJing minsu

Day1: Bus from Taipei to CingJing in the morning. Reach CJ @ noon. Explore CJ, incl. 青青草原& 小瑞士花园
Day 2: Aboriginal Cultural Village & Sun Moon Lake (probably take the ropeway to enjoy the scenic view only)
Day 3: Sunrise at He Huan Shan & roam about CJ for a few hours.

Need opinion to see if the above is workable.
We have 2A 1C, should we DIY, hire a driver or join local tour bus?

We had 5 adults & 2 kids and we took 2 taxis from HKIA to Tsim Sha Tsui area. We arrived on a weekday noon time, not so much issue of traffic jam. Taxi fare was abt HK250.

When we were planning, we thought abt Airport Express to Kowloon and trsf to bus/MTR or taxi or Cityflyer bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. After much calculations, we realised that not much savings, maybe SGD5 or so, in this way. Therefore, we decided to take a taxi instead.

Do take note that not they do not have lifts or escalators at some of the MTR exits, this can be tormenting to huddle your luggage up to the ground level.

Just came back from HK. Temperature has dropped to 12-17C. For those who are going, keep warm. Layering will be good.

Yes, there was a waiting list earlier this year. Best to call them & indicate your interest, even before the orientation day.
