    • RE: Any supplements or ways to reduce Blood Pressure?

      CJS:
I have not seen anyone whose BP come down after taking Hawthorn Berries yet. My husband and I have just started this drink for about 2 weeks. Will update you later.

Forgotten about this update that I was supposed to give. After many months (I think more than 9 months) of consuming hawthorn berries as tea, my dh bp medication has been cut by half and it has remained like that since. However, the good thing is that now he no longer gets spikes in bp on and off which he used to get despite being on medication. You may try this cheap method but you have have patience cos this works very slowly.

One very effective and super cheap herb is hawthorn berries. You can buy the dried form from fu hua for $0.8 per 100g. Just make it like you make tea with your usual teabag. Let it soak for about 10 minutes before drinking. Beware, itโ€™s a very sour fruit so start with 3 - 4 pcs per cup or you add in honey to sweeten it. This herb works slowly but it is very effective. My sister who is super fat (should have HBP) has LBP instead cos she drinks this about 3 to 4 times a week.

    • RE: Milia Seeds

Does anyone know if PPP clinic is good at removing milia seeds ? Do they hard sell and are their services good? Cos worried as they seem to be very aggressive in advertising. I don't know any dermatologist. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced specialist ? Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜„

May I know how you get rid of milia seeds especially those around the eye line. I have a few along the eyeline and my usual beautician says it is too dangerous for her to remove with the help of needles and pimple extractor.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

      CJS:
I am trying out neem supplements from Himalayas. It's supposed to be antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic and anti-parasitic. Basically, it cleanses blood and liver which would benefit skin health. I hope my rashes would not flare up with this supplement. My first dose was yesterday. Will update here after three months. :xedfingers:

Here's the update on the neem supplement that I have taken for around 6 months. This does not help with my hives at all. I still get them. However, Nov till now are relatively cool months. I have not had any hives at all during these months even during my periods. I guess my skin is now very sensitive to hot weather.

I went on a diet and lost about 4 kg and it did wonders to my knees. I have not suffered any knee pain after I lost the weight.

Yup, some fine prints on packaging are just too much for my eyes and I have to ask dd for assistance. Made me recall when I did similarly for my mum, and now is my turn.

      HOW to overcome this ่€่Šฑ็œผ?
It's the other way round ! :frustrated: My dd asked me to read the fine prints on a shampoo bottle (A Taiwanese brand) saying that she does not understand Chinese. :slapshead: I told her I can't even see the words.

    • RE: Rebonding

I just did silk rebonding at Jean Yip (Nex branch). They are having a promotion at $128. Have not washed my hair yet, so no comments yet. Service was Ok as it was not crowded on a weekday. Rebonding was done in under 3 hours. There was no hard sell of packages either.
