@slmkhoo I would rather go for Wordpress which is quite user friendly and has thousands of free themes to choose from. There are multiple plugins (also free) that you can use to add ecommerce and payments etc. later on.

I found this detailed guide at https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=67186 and followed all the steps and now I see ‘Pending for Verification’ as the status. It has been two days and it still shows pending for verification. Anyone knows how long it takes for the verification?

Hmmmmm…..why need two phases then? Why not make it simple like the pri-sec dsa.
Phase 1 is before the O level exams and Phase 2 is after O level. So i guess Phase 1 is more for non-academic talents (academic track record can also apply of course). And https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=95749.

O-Level results are typically released in January. However, students can still participate in the DSA-JC selection process using their school-based assessments, preliminary exam results, and co-curricular activity records. These records are used to evaluate a student's potential and suitability for admission to a particular JC. Once a student receives their O-Level results in January, they will be offered a provisional placement in a JC based on their DSA application and O-Level results. If they meet the minimum admission criteria, they can accept the provisional offer and start attending the JC in the following academic year.

Higher Chinese (Paper 1)
7/11/2023 at 8am to 10am

When do students start practice doing full TYS papers? Any tips to get an A1? Thanks!
Unless you wish to pursue the Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP) or Higher Chinese in junior colleges or Millennia Institute must have obtained an A1 for HCL in their O-levels.

Otherwise it does not directly affect the AL score. The AL score is calculated based on a student's best grades in any combination of six subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Mother Tongue, and a sixth subject.

Could anyone advise on the word limit of English writing. Is there a word limit? From what I can see from the PSLE model compos, they are easily more than 500 words. What would be the general topics? Appreciate and thanks in advance for those who can share a bit about SPERS for sec.
Hi vamos, https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=47521 have two parts each. For the English test compo, it is 200 to 400 words depending on Sec 1, 2 or 3.

Hi all,

May I ask how to improve in unseen prose? There isn’t any unseen prose and model answers available for practice….

Thanks!
The purpose of testing https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=76130 as the name suggests is to give the students a passage that they have not seen before from text books. It is usually taken from a book or a novel. The best way to prepare for this is to encourage students to READ many books (not text books). This will increase their vocabulary as well as understanding of the language and read between the lines.

Commentary: I gave up JC to go to poly and never looked back

Every mid-April when polytechnic students begin the new academic year, CNA’s Grace Yeoh is reminded of the decision that altered her education path - and how going against the grain at a young age set her up for life.
https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=97424 is a difficult choice to make. While there are pros and cons in both, it is generally a personal preference. If you are a hands-on person and skills oriented then poly is a good choice. On the other hand, if you are an academic person and would like to pursue university studies then JC is a good choice. Both if done with commitment can make you successful. I personally would choose JC though. 😄
