The new principal didn’t impress me much, no feel abt the more academic focus part. I managed to ask DS’ FT though and was told C, D, E, F and G are the same in terms of standard whereas H and I require more support. Anyone knows what he meant by contacting PSG for scores of 2014?
My DS is in P5 too. HW wise, I can see its more difficult but otherwise, most of them are completed by the time I’m home after work.

RE: Poi Ching
I heard they are allocated by putting 1st top student in 5C, followed by D, E, F etc right? Which are the weaker classes for P5? Are they 5G, 5H and 5I?

RE: Poi Ching
Hi,
Thank you for the information.
I would also like to find out whether there is any student care inside the school. If yes, it is operationed by which student care centre? And whether anyone know is it possible for school bus to pick up student after student care closed for the day?[/quote]
hi snowbell,
there is no SC inside the school but there are 2 SCs just opp the school. One is Canopy and the other is Sherwinn, you can google for more information about the centres. I think Canopy does not accept new students, only those that graduate from their childcare as they don’t have enough teachers or space. SCs usually close around 7pm (Sherwinn closes at 8pm) so you won’t have to worry about SCs closing earlier than school unless its a SC closure day which you will be informed during beginning of each year. -

Wlliang06:
Hi is it a must to purchase the reading pen for yun yu HCL textbook? How much is that ?
hi wlliang06, i personally think it will be good to let your child have some basics in CL as there are many new words to learn and can be overwhelming at times. my child attended enrichment class prior to joining P1.
btw, do let me know if you are interested to buy the reading pen 2nd hand? i think i bought it for $80+ (will need to check if receipt is still around) and can sell it off at 50% (still in very good condition as my boy could read quite well without the pen). its not a must to purchase but you can use the pen for P1 and P2. -
