      1)\t60 pupils are tasked to paint some chairs and tables. 20% of the boys and 60% of the girls painted the chairs. The rest of the 42 pupils painted the tables. How many boys painted the chairs?

      2)\tMrs Koh needed to bake a certain number of cookies for a charity drive. She has already baked 300 cookies. She planned to bake the rest within the next 5 days by baking the same number of cookies each day. If she completes baking 36% of all the cookies needed in the next 3 days, what was the total number of cookies that she needed to bake for the drive?

      4)\tAn open-air concert ticket for an adult was priced at $85.50. There were 150 more male adults than female adults for the first night concert. For the second night concert, the number of female adults was decreased by 15% and the number of male adults was increased by 30%. If there were 1270 adults in the second night concert, how much more money was collected from the sale of the tickets for the second night concert than the first night concert?

      5)\tMiss Li and Miss Leo each sold a certain number of cupcakes at their shop. If Miss Li sold 60 cupcakes each day and Miss Leo sold 30 cupcakes each day, Miss Li would have 300 cupcakes left by the time Miss Leo finished selling all her cupcakes. If Miss Li sold 30 cupcakes each day and Miss Leo sold 60 cupcakes each day, Miss Li would have 930 cupcakes left by the time Miss Leo finished selling all her cupcakes. Find the number of cupcakes Miss Li had at her shop.

      6)\tSally had a bag which contained only black and white cards. 4/5 of the cards in the bag were black cards. She removed 35 black cards and 5 white cards from the bag and divided the remaining cards into groups of 7 cards each. In each group, there were 5 black cards. Find the total number of cards in the bag at first.

      2)\tThe ratio of the number of Henry’s pencils to t he number of Yasmin’s pencils was 3:5 at first. After each of them has received 45 pencils, Henry had 5/8 as many pencils as Yasmin. Henry then bought another 65 pencils. How many more pencils did Yasmin have than Henry in the end?


      3)\tAhmad painted some toy cars in blue, red and green. 42 of them were painted in blue. 7/10 of the remaining toy cars were painted in red. The number of green toy cars was 21% of all the toy cars he painted. How many toy cars did he paint altogether?

      Anyone has dd in p5 last year? Would appreciate it if you could share what the Malacca trip was like. Did they stay in hotel, hostel or dormitory? If hotel, was it two to a room or three? Can choose roommate or teacher assign? Roommate from same class or from different class?

      The girls stayed in hotel. (think is 5*). 3 to a room. Their class teacher assigned their roommates. (2 from same class…one from another class)

      My dd enjoyed her Malacca trip very much....
