RE: First time flying budget. Sin-Mel, which budget airline?
kamom:
Which budget airline would you recommend for SIN-MEL. I realised that SCOOT doesn't fly to Mel?
You can try emirates or etihad airways. not budget, direct flight and fare quite affordable compare to SQ and Qantas -
RE: Holy Innocents' Primary
Chelsiatee:
HI,
Just to share on the P3 allocation next yr as Ive verified with my ds's form teacher(ds p2 this yr). 3G4 will be the only best class while 3G3 will be the \"weakest\" class. The rest of the classes will be allocated randomly.
Hi Chelsiatee,
Thanks for the verification.
By the way, I understand from my boy that he change class during math lesson. He and a few of his classmates will join another class for math whereas some of his classmates join another class and the rest remain in their classroom.
I wonder whether the school is trying to split them based on their standard.

TENTEN:
I do feel that they change the allocation. My neighbor child who is in p3 this yr told me abt the 7 & 8 being the best class. However from my boy, I heard that most of his classmates who are good in studies are in 3G5. He himself who is average is in 3G8.I beg to differ. Next year, the P3 best classes are 3G4, 3G5 and 3G7, the last I am unable to confirm. This is to throw the scent off for parents.
I know for certain the 2 top classes are correct, from current P2 teachers' and pupils from different classes' accounts, and also based on results of my DD's classmates.
Hope this helps, eindeda?
So what TenTen say maybe true.
As a parent, I just hope my boy is not in the \"need to pay attention\" class. He doesn't have to be in the top class.
Anyway thanks a lot for all the responses

RE: Comparing Math Enrichment Programmes
Pen88n:
Thanks for your response.Einleda,
Have you looked thru' and analysed why he has done badly - carelessness? do not understand? not taught? Speak to the teacher to find out if needed, and check by testing your boy yourself.
If it is a case of carelessness, putting in tuition will not help. What you need is to get him to be more careful (use carrot / reward for checking and ensure no mistake).
If unable to understand, then you might need to ascertain his ability before you decide which tuition may benefit him.
Sometimes he is careless, but according to the teacher, by now he should be able to do addition within 10 by heart, however I realise my boy took a while to do the addition and subtraction, furthermore he need to use his fingers.
not sure whether is it I over-concerned, but i do worry if he like to use his fingers, he will have problems on addition within 20 and within 30. -
RE: Comparing Math Enrichment Programmes
Hi Parents,
I need your kind advise. My boy is in P1 this year. I realise he do quite badly for his math in the first semester.
I am thinking of giving him extra on Maths. But I can’t choose between Math Enrichment like MPM or Tuition like Mindstretcher
And If i put him now, is it too late for him to pick up ?
hope to hear some advices.
Thanks

I register my DS1 on the 1st day at 10am. already gotten 80plus applicants ahead of me
and saw the staff rejected those applicants staying more than 1KM and asked them to come again the next day and check if the applicants have exceeded.
so confirmed ballot is req within 1km
wish me good luck

We will see each other on the day of balloting

The 110 balance vacancies are then divided equally between Phase 2B and 2C. So there will also be 55 places for Phase 2C, or more if there is any spill over from Phase 2Beinleda:
