      Hi Orange Belt,

There are 180 SCs staying within 1 km (including pair of twins) balloting in the exercise. I was quite shocked as I expected some staying more than 1 km might try but parents are getting wiser to know that its almost impossible to get in. So out of 179 balls, 59 are picked. There wasnt any big hurray or reaction from those who balloted in (including myself as I went alone). My DDs childcare fren's dad was there too and didnt get in even though he stayed 2 blks away. Rather disappointed but luckily springdale is nearby too so that one is going to be a popular choice for those who didnt get NCPS. I must say its quite an experience for me.
      Hi skmum, congratz & welcome!
My dd2 is also attending Primary 1 with your dd :).
Btw, blue belt is Mummy So Kiasu, brown belt is timtim, orange belt is sagacious.sg

You missed their forum name just above the belt icon & online/offline icons. 🙂

Vevey’s suggestion is good. If teacher still bochap, no need give face liao.

Hopefully, your frustration will end soon.

I felt it should be left to school… if teacher is incapable of dealing with the child, escalate to the Principal. Approaching the parents/child directly will bring this to personal level…

My girl and her girl-classmates get same verbal bullying from another boy, to extend of vulgarity… probably bad influence from home, siblings, TV etc etc… if parents do not bother to discipline and correct their own kids, I bet the teachers can only do that much… At the moment, my girl and her classmates just ignore that boy and the teacher is still managing him.

Principal will be able to command more authority/respect over such children. Moreover, the Principal wouldn’t want to let such children portray a bad image to the public in school uniform, especially in current era of social media.

      My 2 cents.

We are running on M1 100MB fibre too, didn't encounter problem. My girl started English in late morning and both Chinese & Maths in the noon while I was taking nap :p.

Btw, we received the Phase 1 red-copy registration form for next year P1 intake. If you have a child registering, please remember to check with the sibling.

      Goodnite 🙂

      Hi,

Does anyone know if staying in Disneyland Hotel comes with free complimentary pass to the theme park?
But you can check out their website for promotion package.
Room + 2 days adult tickets... and you just need to buy for kids.

My girl in P2, so far she is doing fine with her Maths paper.

If there anything that worry me, its her careless mistakes that caused points to drop. Otherwise, I compare the test questions with revision file, its look quite safe if revision is done. My views may not be applicable to higher level students.

Btw, we received the pink carbon form for Primary 1 registration for 2013 batch. For everyone infor in case your child hasn’t pass to you.

      Regards.

Im thking of AT but am staying more than 2km away =(

I think your distance from school is part of SHHK's consideration too. Coz if there is a history of yearly ballot within 1km, the clan will rather recommend next qualifying member who has realistic chance.. my 2 cents.
